Beacon Street
A Dutch Colonial that had no closet for guests near the front prompted the addition of a new entry hall. The new entry hall brings in tons of light and new angles of view from existing spaces not previously possible. The living room was completely renovated with a new big bay window with a deep window seat, suitable for lounging and playing games. The old chunky brick fireplace mantel was demolished and a new fireplace mantel was custom designed. This house was featured in This Old House Magazine December 2010.
